Thread: Winner of Miranda vs Green will face Pavlik

It official.
WBC is making the winner of the Miranda vs Green fight face Pavlik for the final eliminator.
Taylor will be forced to fight the winner. One way or the other, he's gonna face a bigtime puncher.

Yea... I don't see why this fight in itself couldn't just be an eliminator.. Pavlik hasn't done anything to deserve the same aclaim the winner of this fight will get.. Miranda has already established himself ahead of both these guys.. But your right, it means either way Taylors 'going to have a huge task on his hands whoever he fights.

cc#317 p4pking agreed, look at Pavliks resume compared to Mirandas..... Though I do think Pavliks & Greens is almost the same up until this fight for Green.

cc#317 p4pking agreed, look at Pavliks resume compared to Mirandas..... Though I do think Pavliks & Greens is almost the same up until this fight for Green.

Yep Cc back, for sure there's nothing seperating Pavlik and Green.. It's just that Miranda has done a whole lot more to warrant a title shot at middleweight than either of them, so I'd rather see the winner take on Taylor sooner rather than later. The winner of this fight wouldn't be entering a Taylor fight with any more momentum by beating Pavlik then if they just got the shot immediately.. Plus, who else do you think Taylor is going to fight in the meantime? IMO Ouma was a pretty easy defence as it was, don't wanna see him fight sergio Mora next..

Well, I'm a Abraham fan, and I will say he'll loose his title if he fights Taylor. Taylors too fast for him Abraham still stands around and waits for the opponent to fire his shots first then he fire back. Waiting around against JT will be a huge mistake and JT will pick him a apart cause. The only thing Abraham can do is make JT engage in the middle of the ring where hes voulnurable and fire off his shots.... Other then that JT walks through... keep in mind this is coming from a Abraham fan but the truth is there....

Though I wouldn't mind seeing Abraham vs. Pavlik their styles match up really nice IMO and would make for an exciting fight...

Also expect JT to vacate the titles and move up to SMW....

No I did, was just trying to twist his words a little bit because Green won't beat Miranda .. Obviously Pavlik would be totally out of the picture if he lost to Miranda too, was just playing around.

Mind you though, Taylor, Green, miranda, and Pavlik are all very big 160 lbers who could move up easily.. Taylor may face any one of these guys down trhe road no matter what happens.

Green has already been fighting at SMW.
Pavlik had started talks about moving prior to the Zertuche fight.
Miranda I think still has some unfinished business there but won't stick around for much....

Pantera, I am not hearing what u r stating? I hear Kelly is going to fight Goren on the Taylor - Mora card in Apriland the winner will automatically get Taylor. I believe the fight will be in June or July!!! I am hearing that from not only PAvlik's camp but some boxing news men.

I didn't know Taylor vs Mora was official... hope not, really... It would also be really stupid to have Pavlik fight some random opponent( Goren?!? ) and become a mandatory.. Would be quite outrageous considering Miranda vs Green is happening soon before. No way Pavlik should be able to cut in front of either man. He has the softest resume out of any of them probably... Let alone after the winner of Miranda Green emerges.

This is what I hear. His name khoren Gevor. He is Armanian and #1WBO middleweight. IT appears legit from my sources. Taylor - Mora fight is about a done deal. Checkout MAXBoxing. I met those guys at Kelly's fight with Zertuche. They know what is going on.

It could be true. However if Pavlik chooses to fight Gevor it would not be for an eliminator and Taylor would not be forced to fight the winner.
This is boxing, things change all the time. All I know is the WBC mandated the Miranda vs Green winner to face Pavlik for an elimination bout. We shall wait and see!
