Default Another Warren fighter goes for the WBO

Scotland's super-featherweight Alex Arthur has announced he will take on Russian Alexander Hrulev for the vacant WBO Intercontinental title on 10 March.
Arthur, 28, has won four out of four fights against Russian opposition and plans to dispose of Hrulev ahead of a potential title fight later this year.

Hrulev, also 28, has lost one of his 16 fights and has never been stopped.

And Arthur said: "I can't take anything for granted. I know Hrulev will put me under pressure but I will beat him." Read more...

    The usual Arthur opponent.

And for a title he's already won and chucked four/five years ago.

Yeh something like that. I'm very confident Carl Johanesson would knock Arthur out just like Michael Gomez did. Same old story with Warren fighters. He'l not put Arthur in with anyone he thinks will be a threat. To me it devalues the WBO belt. Wonder if Hatton wud have gone that route if Cotto wasn't champion
