welcome to the board, have ur first CC on me
Andre Berto has really impressed me. He has a few things to work on but he has so much time to correct them, i can see him being a HUGE force in the future whether he can stay at welter or moves up.
I like Berto he's a real monster for his weight (no Baller reference intended)
He's built like a young rhino, should storm through the division once he's matured some.
Norberto Bravo is going to be laid out when they fight on Saturday.

Takie would have been a good test but I think Andre Berto would have eventually worn him down. Maybe by decision, but it wouldn't surprise me if he caught him. I agree that Bravo shouldn't be a problem. I like Berto by KO in the 5th.
I hate to say it but...R.I.P Bravo if you don't stay down once you get nailed good. After listening to him talk and watching K-9 blast off on him in the ring, Berto could really hurt this guy for life if Bravo tries to be too brave.
No doubt, Berto is an animal. Bravo would be smart to call in sick. I can't wait for tonight, three good fights all on one card.
How do you guys think a fight between Berto and Cintron would end? How about Berto vs Margarito? I think that after Berto gets a couple more fights under his belt he'll be ready to start facing the best the division has to offer. That is if they'll take a fight with him.
Interesting match-up.. I think over the course of the match someone would kiss canvas and thus the end . would be a real crowd pleaser because you have a tall fighter Cintron who is rangy yet loves to fight on the inside when need be .. against a shorter arguably strong fighter in Berto, I like Kermit a great deal. just worried about him losing his spark under Steward tutelage . Manny is a great trainer but over the last few years he has been preaching safety first type fighting “ holding” as a strategy and staying away .. rather then the Hearn’s knock your ass out strategy he once embraced.Originally Posted by overhandright
I once thought he just used that safety first style for his tall straight up easy to hit fighters, but he seems to be going that way with others like Taylor and so on.. Each fighter is individual and has their strengths and weaknesses. Got to formulate a plan for each guy. Cintron needs to use his offense , its always been his bread and butter and the key to his victories .
