    Default Double mouthguard or single?

Hey, I usually never use a mouthpiece, cus all I have ever done is backyard box for the past 2 years. BUT there is a gym opening up around me, and I called the guy and he invited me over for sparring come Tuesday. I'm very excited, its gonna be tight. Anyway I have an Everlast double mouthpiece, but have never used it, I'm going to open it finally and use it for this occasion though. Should I use it or go buy a single one?

If it fits you nicely and you can live with it then super..
But i had one a while back and couldnt get it to fit like you can with a single..

Maybe i done something wrong with it..But i personally prefer single mouthpieces

I personally prefer single mouth guards, I tried a double and it just kept making me wanna heave so I went back to my single but I would say what ever you feel comfortable with. Because you are not used to wearing a mouth guard at all I would say the single will be more comfortable for you.

Thanks. I'll try the double, and if it feels really awkard, I'll just go buy a simple single one.

I alway used to use a junior(childs) single gumshield even as a senior coz I found the other type uncomfortable in my mouth.

Yeah, I fitted the mouthpiece and tried it, and it is pretty big. Hard to breath thru the mouth, which I know you are supposed to do, but still. Also what really sucked is that the trip to the gym got cancelled cus of the shatty weather out here. The trainer called me back and said that the sparring was off for this afternoon cus the ring is outside and it rained like hell and snowed there. Said he'd call me back when there was sparring though.
