Default If Manfredo Could do It, How Would It be Done?

If Manfredo has any chance whatsoever to beat Calzaghe, what would he have to do?

I think he'd have to take Calzaghe out of his gameplan, first of all. He needs to keep Calzaghe away from him with a constant jab, tie up his hands when he gets inside and work the body. Of course wayyyy easier said than done. I think if Manfredo does it, it'll come from a hail mary type punch that catches Calzaghe wrong at the perfect moment and stuns him so Manfredo can punish him.

Even if Manfredo negates Calzaghe's speed somewhat with the jab, Calzaghe's closet is just much too deep for him to lose by having one weapon neutralized.

Manfredo has little to no chance of beating Calzaghe. He is too inexperienced and lacking in skills. He will be lucky to go several rounds.

    Manfredo cannot do it.

thing is, calzaghe can box and he can brawl

his gameplan is to box and not let his oppenent near him but he forgets and enjoys a good scrap

unfortunatly for manfredo, jc is in a diff class to him so doesnt matter wat tactic he uses, joe is better at it already

If Calzgahe breaks both hands and is radioactively poisoned the day of the fight I'd say it would be a 50/50 pick'em fight.

Ultimately though I wouldn't fancy Peter to win this even if Calzaghe was nailed to a cross and Manfredo had a spear to pierce his side.

That's it. I'm betting cc/sc's. If Manfredo goes the distance, and loses by 7 points or less on at least two of the three scorecards, I want cc's from everyone who wants in on this action NOW. If Manfredo gets KTFO, or dominated Lacy style, feel free to sc me.

Manfredo does have a very slight chance at winning this - all he has to do is use his head. And by use it I mean hold it still and upright for long enough while Joe breaks his hands on it, then and only then will he stand the remotest of chances. Good luck with that pete :P

lucky punch but even manfredo hasnt really got one hit ko power and calzaghe has pretty solid chin so really and truthfully i can't see how manfredo can do it
