Default Meldrick Taylor v. Zab Judah at 140

Who would win between these two extremely fast handed fighters?

Taylor out lasts Judah and ko's him mid-late. But I hate these things, but that one seems clear cut.

I also see Meldrick winning but he can't get Judah out of there by the mid rounds. Late round KO, otherwise Taylor by decision.

I agree, I don't think Zab could outlast Meldrick. I too see it as a UD for Meldrick.

Meldrick Taylor could have been one of the finest fighters ever. I don't know enough about him post Chavez other then a couple articles written prior to their second meeting but he was an absolute marvel of a fighter. Quite possibly the fastest hands ever and was such a beautiful boxer. In and out in a flash or he could bang you out on the inside. It's really amazing how he went on such a rapid decline. Not like losing to Terry Norris is bad or anything but if you've seen him fight McGirt you know what it is. He was an amazing fighter. Zab isn't in Pre-Chavez Taylor's league. TKO in the late rounds or a UD.

That's ridiculous. That fight may have furthered the damage but Chavez broke his orbital bone and gave him 30 stitches and his first loss. It wasn't the same Taylor that stepped in versus Norris.

Taylor on the Chavez fight aftermath...

"For a year and a half I dwelled on it," Taylor said. "I lost confidence in myself. I couldn't believe I could fall so far so fast. I had two more losses and people wrote me off and I began questioning my ability."

If people haven't seen much of Meldrick that's the fight they should see. He was ridiculously good against McGirt.

i wanted to get that fight few days ago but it expired so couldnt get it

id like to say one more thing meldrick taylor is on of finest boxers ive seen his handspeed footwork workrate was one of finest ive seen wasnt it like 1000+ punches thrown vs chavez ?? and the way he was blocking chavez body punches when he was on inside was masterful he would of given any all time great a hard nights work imo

Yeah definately the first Chavez fight that messed him up, even Lou Duva has said it many times.

Meldrick Taylor at his best would beat Zab his best no doubt . Zab at his best , made too many mistakes, and his chin has always been shit. I see Taylor winning , inside the distance

didn't Taylor swallow a dangerous amount of blood in that fight ?

Something like a pint so i heard . He fucked his kidneys up as well it was a career ending beating and to get stopped with 2 seconds left how do you come back from that .

    Chavez was a machine .
