For the sake of the Philippines, I would love Pacquaio to lose his next fight so that he will not win in the election. Pacquaio can hardly read and he aspires to be a lawmaker....what a shame to the Philippine Congress.

i'd like to see him win the fight against solis and lose the next one in may against incumbent congresswoman darlene custodio. manny needs to wake up and realize where his career belongs. he needs to secure his boxing legacy and then he can pursue anything he wants to do after he retires. entering politics at this point is simply stupid. even people very close to him like his mother and freddy roach are against it.

same reason why philippines dont go nowhere...pac is a great guy and helps a lot of people but he is more productive as a boxer than a lawmaker. he should focus on what he does best.. but then again..being a "rags to riches" person may make a difference

I'd like to blame our politicians(particularly Gloria Macapagal Arroyo) for luring Pacquaio into this disgrace.

We need Pacquaio as a boxing hero not as a laughing stock in the Congress.

fellow filipinos, it is a little unusual posting our grievance here but i know that you just want your opinion and personal feelings for manny and what is happening with his carrer.

sometimes, i also tinkered with thoughts of manny losing his coming boxing fight just so that he realizes that you cannot take for granted having a scheduled match and not getting a proper training for it.
manny knows this but his time i think is now divided between training and preparing for elections.
with this, his fighting condition could be questionable. either two bad scenarios will happen, manny doesn't get enough training or he burns due to training and campaigning at the same time.

today, as i saw how jmm beats mab, manny should train seriously if he wants to win this time with a possible rematch with jmm before the end of this year.

he needs to focus on the thing he knows the most.. congress is not for him.. shame on our leaders to even make him qualified... this is the reason why our country is not going forward at all.. we elect government officials whose backgrounds are acting and sports...i have nothing against pac but he needs to know which line he could cross and which one is not for him

that is true... ever wonder why politicians have their own private army? corruption comes from need too.. if u run for office.. u will need to spend money.. so when the get the position they try to get their money back.

I didn't realize that you had to be equipped with a big brain to be a politician. That's certainly not how it works in the States and it never seemed to work in the U.K. or France.

If you really want to be a productive politician you need be to have a big brain. If you want to be a lawmaker you need to have knowledge about law. How can Manny make a law when he can't even write properly. Again, he will just be a laughing stock in the Congress. I hate to see my boxing hero fall to that shameful state.
