Thaxton would knock him out
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I think it would depend entirely on how Amir fought,if he tried to mix it then maybe he'd get Ko'd but he is far more skilled than Thaxton and could easily outbox him.
I'm with you Scrap.
I honestly reckon Khan would destroy him. He has to remember to keep his hands up, and I'm assuming he would be able to go 10 or 12 rounds and that he has at least a reasonable chin.
If he does he batters Thaxton imo.
Thaxton is too slow, doesn't have the reach and is too old.
I could see this being a major breakout fight for Khan.
He's far quicker than Thaxton thats for sure...it'll be disappointing if Khan can't go past Thaxtons level in the not to distant future
But at this stage if he went from little-powderpuff-punching-superfeathers, that he can take
liberties with, to a decent fighter like Thaxton i reckon he'd be in for a big shock...
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I cant argue that Khan is fast and flashy but i'm not sold on Khans chin or power and that is at this poor level he is at now.
Most ((not all)) of Khans stoppages have been because of the amount of shots he has thrown rather than the other guy being hurt...
For me this would an easy fight for Thaxton and a KO win for him
but i guess it dosnt really matter what we say as Khan wont be put in with anyone of Thaxtons level for a looooonnnnnggggg time and will most likely get exposed before then anyways![]()
Intersting to note that at the same stage of his career Naseem Hamed was pissing all over a very good European champion whilst Amir is having someone dragged out of retirement for him to bash up![]()
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
I'd go for Amir to stop Thaxton inside 5 rounds he would be to fast Amir had a good test on Audley v Williams undercard and passed with flying colours but then they give him bums again i think he needs to go the british,Commonwealth and european titles route first and stop talking world titles one step at a time
