Nice battle!
I think Trinidad would be too tall, to fearless and to powerfull.
TKO by round 10![]()

Cotto could get better, but today's Cotto v. prime Trinidad ends in a brutal early round knockout. Tito would test that chin early and often.
tito will murder cotto![]()
Tito would tkfo Cotto, inside 6. And I love Cotto but here is no way, with his style that he would be able to hang with Trinidad.
I go for Cotto. TKO before 8th round

As Puertorican I would have some conflict to watch 2 great champions from my beautiful Island in this battle. However, there had been great battles between Puertorican champions such as Camacho vs Edwin "Chapo" Rosario, Laporte vs Gomez just to mention 2, which I had enjoyed. But, going back to the subject, I will bet for Tito winning by KO. It would be a brutal fight since both man like to fight... If this fight happened I would put my feeling aside and would be ready to watch it with my house full of neighbors and coolers full of beer.![]()
Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!
Just because Cotto beat Corrales is not any reason to think he can beat Tito, who was good at welterweight and strong. Corrales had a weak chin at 135 and 140,,, why did we expect his chin to get stronger.. Only guys like Hearns could move up and knock guys out still at higher weights. Hearns is the exception because of his greatness. Corrales is not great.
Sorry bro think you got mixed up.Originally Posted by LegendBoxing65
My point is if I were Corrales trainer I would try and change his style a little to adjust to his inability to take punches now or really ever. but before if a guy was close to give a punch he usually took a Corrales punch and backed away. Now the punches are not and will not back away the welterweights. He should not fight at 147 since I think it takes away his advantages, yet he says he cannot make 140 anymore. Corrales is better than Cotto pound for pound but at 147 it just seems like he is out of his advantage range. Hearns still had advantages when he moved up in weight because he had speed and the skills of a world class fighter in excess. In excess I mean he was just so much better that he still dominated, even Virgil Hill. Corrales has skills, but not to the point where he can move up and beat guys easily. Hearns moved up and beat Andries like he was beating a 4th rate fighter, and Andries was champion. But that is not fair to compare Corrales to Hearns, just that Hearns is the guy most people compare the tall guys to. Corrales should have tried to stay at 140.. Or if he fights at 147 he better adjust to his vulnerabilities and find another way to win. His way of winning at 135 and 140 will not work at 147 I am afraid.
Is this with or without the concrete wraps?![]()
