I say Witherspoon wins decision his jab would give Bowe problems and bigger men always gave Bowe trouble Tony Tubbs and Golota.

Might be the trickiest one youve come up with yet Ice
Both fighters, even in their prime, could be very different fight to fight
Tim when he had the best trainers could be deadly outside,Bowe when his mind was in it could be amazingly explosive
Yes i think Witherspoon's style would confuse Bowe and plus Bowe wouldn't be able to land many jabs because Witherspoon blocked all jabs with his right glove like he did with Holmes he struggled to land his jabs aswell i think would be tough fight but only thing is that Bowe wern't great outside fighter and Witherspoon was this would be outside type of fight with Witherspoon edging it.Originally Posted by Trainer Monkey
See part of what makes it tricky though is Bowe, when his head was in it,had an ability to explode in and close
Cant conclusively say who'd win this one
Which Tim would show up? If Tim Witherspoon who showed up with Larry Holmes shows up he beats Bowe by late knockout, if the Tim who fought Bonecrusher in a rematch shows up Bowe wipes him out. Although Bonecrusher had good power.. Bowe had a good counter left hook. Tim Witherspoon in shape was a better fighter than Bowe I think. But Bowe goes down better in history just on his great fights with Evander..
Yes i agree i think Witherspoon in shape would beat Bowe and yes legend i am on about when there both at there best and i think Witherspoon was just bit too good of an outside fighter for Bowe.Originally Posted by LegendBoxing65
I agree IceCold Tim was a great outside fighter. I liked Tim's overall style. Bowe's also. The only thing about Bowe which was bad was that he relied on a great counter left, but he could eat the right hands. I would have loved to see Bowe and Tim fight prime and motivated. What a matchup. I always thought that Tim had a little more heart than Bowe in someway. What happened with Bonecrusher the second time was confusing to me. I understood it sort of but I never saw a guy get knocked out almost like they woke him up from sleeping randomly one night and rang the bell and there stands Bonecrusher Smith.. Had Tim won, he would have fought Mike maybe. but I always thought Tim had the style to beat Mike and that second Bonecrusher fight was the reason. Maybe the Kings didn't want Mike to lose to Tim so they set up Tim to lose to Bonecrusher.
Yes that was pretty strange wasn't it but i think Witherspoon mind wasn't on game and Smith knowing this jumped right on him its quite mystery though considering Witherspoon had good chin in his prime.Originally Posted by LegendBoxing65
well I guess I'll go against the grain. I'd take Bowe by ko. No particular reason I feel like Riddick could make it an inside fight and out slug him.
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
Tim would have to much arsehole for Riddock
