I know some people are born with it and ect but he would of still had to learn technique and workout and i was just wondering if anyone knows his training regime to get so strong with his punches.

I agree with what your saying but i think you are born with it and throwing the power punches comes naturally
Thats right, punching hard has to come natural, just like the fastest sprinters are born fast, you can probably improve slightly but 95% is born talent.Originally Posted by tysonbruno
I got pretty good Technique and pretty hard punch but would like to know to improve my power so thats why wanted to know if anyone knew Jacksons workout because he is hardest p4p puncher imo and puncher isn't always born with it remember Hearns had feather fists in amateurs then in pros he hits like sledgehammer.Originally Posted by eagle

this is correct. scrap had a good write up a few weeks ago, it was short and sweet about using gravity ,balance, and sitting on the punch.Originally Posted by tysonbruno
Hearns was not feather fisted as an amatuer. He didn't punch as murderously as he did at the pro level, but if I recall correctly, Tommy went pro pretty young, and he was tall and skinny. His power really developed when he grew into his frame.
JJ isn't the hardest P4P puncher either. Even in the very modern era, G-Man, RJJ, Tyson hit harder P4P.
Hardest P4P puncher of all time might be Marciano. I know he was an HW, but the guy weighed 184 without cutting weight.
Well whatever but he still was feather fisted as amateur and your trying to tell me that RJJ hit harder than Jackson p4p ??Originally Posted by Brockton Bomber
Prime RJJ at 160/168 hit harder than JJ p4p. And NO, Hearns was not a feather fisted amatuer. He didn't hit hard enough to make you think he was gonna be one of the Top p4p punchers of all time, but he was by no means feather fisted.
Its figure of speech mate im just saying not all punchers are born with it he had very low ko ratio as amateur and no way Jones hit harder than Jackson Jones was fast and threw nice snappy punches but you can't even compare Jackson's power with Jones Jackson used to knock guys out without even trying.Originally Posted by Brockton Bomber
I wish there was a website that showed boxer's training regimine's, I found a good one that explained everything Holyfield did to train for Douglas, but it's really rare to find that stuff. If anyone knows of a good site for that let me know, PM me.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Sounds to me like you need to contact 'THE POWE PUNCHER'Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING

you need my pulley contraption. I can punch a hole in a brick wall. Sure it hurts, but it goes through.
part genetics
part strength training
part speed training
part technique
