I just finished uploading the Gomez vs. Concepcion video.
And again I only recorded the last round by the time I got home I missed the 1st rounds...

Alfonso apparently was crusing by with a win when he turned it up and stopped Martin in the 7th round.

I love Gomez top little guy tough fighter, but this was a total mismatch Concepcion is below British class way below in my opinion, he was coming off three straight loses and was mainly competing in four rounders, but props to Gomez, is he figthing Gatti next?? Thats what i heard, that just shows what a mismatch this fight was.

That was a terrible match up. D+

Thanks for the flick. Gomez has the goods, though this one was a TERRIBLE mismatch. That said, he has fought incredibly tough competition in his short career and deserved a breather. Hell, he fought Ishe Smith in his seconf fight and Feliciano in his 4rth.

I thought that it was a pretty good fight.After seeing Curiel the fight before...I wasnt gonna count Concepcion out just yet.It was a hard fought battle...but someone has to lose.

Is it just me or does Gomez look alot like MAB? I like him more every time I see him fight...nothing shoots out at you..but he is a all around good fighter.

Yeah! he kinda' resembles MAB a little....
IMO if Gomez can pick it up on the skills dept. he would be a very good fighter. No doubt hes got the heart....

I like Gomez and would like to see him do well, but I am not sure that having his dad as his trainer will get him where he could go. I think if he got with one of the higher class trainers if maybe they could sharpen him up more and bring him along farther.

'Ya know I was about to go to sleep and I thought I'd check out my YouTube account before I went to bed and I clicked on my videos to see if there were any new comments and on the result side where you can click on other related videos I saw the 2 Gomez fights he had on The Contender. I've only seen them once which was on TV and I just saw them now....

I remember watching this and thinking Gomez was tough S.O.B. and he sure as hell ain't backin' down from no one. This little mo' fo took out 2 of the best guys or at least to of the better guys from the show himself. VIVA MEXICO CABRONES!!!

I had completely forgotten about the little comment Koddur makes in his locker room that if he lost to Gomez he'd quit... K*nt! he should have it ain't like hes done much since.
