    Default Please diagnose me

When I'm working, I'll suddenly stop what i'm doing and then start drawing circles. I'll draw dozens of them, even hundreds at a time before going back to what I was doing. I'll draw little ones, big ones, some I'll shade in or fill with squiggle lines, some I'll just leave empty. Sometimes I'll even draw a little circle INSIDE a bigger circle. But they all connect, eventually coming together to make a shape that's mildly reminiscent of a beehive... thousands of little circles, some big. But my goal, and this might be key, is to always draw the cicle absolutely perfect by free hand.

What am I? Autistic, ADD or just plain fucking bored?

i'd say bored with a hint of ocd. I dont have ADD but i suffer from a really really bad short term memory and i only pay attention to stuff when its interesting. If it was ADD you wouldn't be able to pay attention to stuff that you actually wanted to pay attention too.

ROFLMFAO at some of the replies!!!!! Ah good shit you guys. CCs all around.

Smashup, I never used to do it until I read that the legendary artist Von Dutch could draw a perfect circle without a compass. In fact, rumor has it he failed high school drafting class for refusing to use one. After that, I just started trying to do it to see if I could, and haven't stopeed. See, I like pinstriping so Von Dutch's work was great. Plus I thought Von Milash kinda sounded cool.

CMM: great shot of yourself without the shades on!

Saddo, my wife, who's a special ed teacher, actually thinks I DO have mild asswhipers. lol.

But most of all I just I just have a short attention span at times... ie, it's godda interest me or my mind wanders...

You probably have a mild case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and/or A.D.H.D. There's an abundance of online diagnostic tools which may be helpful. Just do a proper google search. If you rate high on these scales, go see a doctor and get yourself sorted out.

I do something similar. In class, I draw my signature on my binder literally thousands of time in just one session. Sometimes I act like I'm taking notes and draw little name symbols you know, cool ways to write my name and what not. But I come home, and my binder is literally BLANKETED in my signature. Worst of all is in my college courses I take, I don't know most of the people in my classes because they're either as disinterested in the class as I am and don't talk much (know one dude in the class who I buy my stuff from ) or they are adults who are interested in the class and are continuing their education. And I do it almost subconsciously so these people must think I have a severe case of megalomania. Worst of all is that I don't even have that cool of a signature and I do the SAME signature over and over. some big, some small, some in red, some in black but they are virtually all the same thing.

So I feel you brother, I do the same thing. Coincidentally, one of my teacher seems to think I have ADD though nothing to do with my binder. I don't know what brought it on, but he goes to me and he says "Adam, look at me and don't look away" and then proceeds to take a pen out of his pocket, hold it high over his head and to the side and SLAMS it on the desk. I mean he slammed it hard so obviously I look at the desk on impact and he goes "Adam, have you ever been diagnosed with ADD"

It was absurd as ANYBODY would have looked at that damned desk.

I wouldn't worry buddy I do some seriously weird shat myself. I have a disturbing habit of collecting hardback books. I take them off my shelf, dust and clean them, flick through the pages to get a good whiff of new book smell, than I stack them all on top of each other, but only after I've read the back and covers of each, and then finally put them back on my shelf.

I also have the equally strange habit of whenever I buy something new I take it to bed with me for a few days, i.e a book, dvd, video game etc. It stays on my bed until the next new thing I buy and then gets replaced.

I don't know if anyone else does something similar or am I just a weirdo?

that's fairly odd, bilbo. But I'm no one to talk: I have a nagging problem with uncontrollable bouts of public masturbation every time I enter frozen food section of the grocery store. Go figure.
