Thread: Bobby Chacon the 70s And 80s Version Of Arturo Gatti ??

Just watching few of his fights recently reminded me of Gatti same warrior like fighter both have great hearts and never quit whats your take on him guys and girls ??

not a bad comparison. Thinking about Chacon I always get back to his loss to Mancini when he was sort of overpowered and stopped in 3 rounds. What would happen in a Mancini/Gatti fight? Talk about great action. Gatti Haugen? Gatti/Pazienza? Gatti matches well with the busy good chin fighters of the late 80s.

I just hope Gatti doesn't turn out like Bobby. Have met him several times, he always attends local fights here and he wears the effects of those wars.

Great guy, always smiling, but he slurs his words and is very hard to understand.

The two of them against each other would be one of the most exciting fights to ever take place while it lasted

Gatti just wishes he was like Chacon.
