Thread: The Tommy Farr musical THE CONTENDER is well worth watching.

Watched it last night in Cardiff.Is was an excillent show for boxing fans and non-boxing fans alike.

I think it is on in Cardiff till the end of the week and then the show is moving on to other parts of the country.


If anyone wants info on tickets just PM me and I will dig the number out.


p.s.Nicky Pipper and his misses were sitting behind us.He is a lot bigger in real life than on tv and his awful mullet hair cut looks even worse.

For thoes of you that have not heard of Tommy Farr he was an ex miner from Tonapandy in south Wales who went 15 rounds with a prime Joe Louis losing 8 rounds to 6 with 1 even.

No culture vultures on saddo then.
