B-hop,maybe Klitschko with that plodding methodical style of his
Bhop and Floyd.
a re we talking like a few off in their total prime? or a craeer of 15 rounds?Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING

I think hopkins could of for a few fights but not as long as he rained as champion down tot he fact he did start boxing as a pro at a very late age...
I am sure there as a fringe fighters who could of too, Jeff lacy was super fit...
Prime Ricky Hatton
Prime Joe Calzaghe
Marco Antonio Barrera
Manny Pac
Juan Manuel Marquez
Mayweather no probs not so sure about Hatton because he's in his prime now really
shockingly i agree with u - fuck maybe its the rum talking...Originally Posted by tysonbruno
When you say prime ricky ice are you talking that one off fight with tszyu? if so i agree, but to me a fighter has to be able to mix it with the top of his league for more than 1 fight to be in his prime... he is still young in boxing terms and has been out of shape and in no ways going to last 15 rounds with a top guy since winning that fight with the thunder..
i think theres only two guys that could:
pac and floyd, pac could get there the easy way or the hard way. Floyd could get there the easy way no doubt, but not so sure if he can last 15 if he fought pacs pace.
We can't keep getting on people will start to talkOriginally Posted by Preme

Floyd could easily do it, no doubt in my mind.
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
Yes im on about Hatton that fought Kostya but you are right that was his only great performance would like him to back in big leagues with big win over Castillo.Originally Posted by Preme
I think most guys would if they had the right opponent. But at that level it can be hard. Delahoya does not look like a guy who has great stamina. I think he sort of gets tensed up and that makes him tired later. Hearns was similar, they both do well and uncoil when they are fresh, but then after that uncoiling of sharp punches backfires on them. But both are great fighters. No doubt. Hearns I think proving more with his wins over Cueves,Duran,Benitez, Hill. but Delahoya is great.
mayweather
hopkins
calzaghe
pacquaio
toney
In all likely hood, every fighter could, it's just that their punch output would drop per round because they'd probably pace themselves for those extra 3 rounds. It would be interesting to see if someone could find the average number of punches thrown when fights were 15 rounds and the average number thrown now.
Floyd, Hopkins, Toney, Pacquiao, Barerra, Morales, Ouma, Soliman, Wright, Vitali Klitschko (though he's only had to go the distance ONCE), De la Hoya, Mosley, Arce.
Lots of these guys have great stamina but some are just friggin tough or have a style that is built to go the distance.
