conditioning the body
I train in and compete in MMA. I am recently getting back into it after a deployment to Afghanistan. I spend 20-30 minutes a day on abs. I use a variety of exercises (crunches/situps/flutterkicks/legthrows/kickouts) but I always do regular situps and something to isolate both lower and higher abs. Mind you I dont compete at a real high level, but I'm finding myself real weak to the body. A decent punch to the solarplexes has been doing some real damage lately. Is there something more specific I should be doing or should I be going longer?
