    Default conditioning the body

    I train in and compete in MMA. I am recently getting back into it after a deployment to Afghanistan. I spend 20-30 minutes a day on abs. I use a variety of exercises (crunches/situps/flutterkicks/legthrows/kickouts) but I always do regular situps and something to isolate both lower and higher abs. Mind you I dont compete at a real high level, but I'm finding myself real weak to the body. A decent punch to the solarplexes has been doing some real damage lately. Is there something more specific I should be doing or should I be going longer?

    yeah, lay off the Burger King, tubby!

    get a trainer to do med ball work with you.... drops on your gut and situps where you catch the ball in the air above your head as you're going backwards. as you come back up you push it back to him.
