I think working with taylor is becoming quite frustrating to steward..

But really its taylor's problem since he fails to perform.. Manny was very mad saturday night

Read somewhere that Steward was trying to get Taylor to box less like an amateur, i.e. trying to get him to throw fewer punches and put more behind each one. Maybe this has something to do with why he seems to be neglecting the jab recently.

Agreed. Manny was giving Taylor exactly the right instructions. Taylor just wasn't executing (or even trying to do so).

its starting to seem that way.

i was impressed with Taylor when he fought winky. i didn't know he had it in him. say what you want but winky isn't a blown jr middle weight. he carries 160 great.

Taylor tries too hard to KO everyone....if you just land punches then that makes it easier.

You can really see the way he throws the right cross, he aims down with it the way De la Hoya was doing vs PBF, which shortens it (bad for a tall fighter) and makes it harder to land which is also bad.

Taylor needs some fixing but all hope is not lost, he has talent, I've seen it in his past fights he just needs to stop trying to KO everyone and just fight the guy infront of him.

I think the wins over Hopkins and the draw vs Wright really put a TON of pressure on him people wanted to see him KO Hopkins and they wanted him to DOMINATE Wright but those guys are tough fighters.....now vs everyone else since then he has tried to end all that controversy with one punch....he needs to relax his punching but let his hands go at the same time
