Mayweather boxes within himself as he did against Oscar , i picked Oscar by late KO , but although i dont like Floyd he once again proved he is a great fighter , just a pity hes not a nice guy like maybe Mike Mccallum.

To be GREAT you don't have to be nice, you just have to fight the best! His best opponent has been Oscar and now he wants to quitOriginally Posted by Dark Lord Al

Floyd is just so scared to get an L on his record. In my eyes though, he has 2 L's one is to Castillo and the other one is to The Golden Boy.
Everybody says you gotta fight other great fighters to be greatOriginally Posted by Jman76
Alright, what great fighter could Floyd have fought on his move up from 135![]()
I'm not talking about 135 so much...how about 140? 147? Don't you think there are good fighters out there that could give him a good challenge? Talking about 135 is irrelevant since he's not going down to 135 at this point. I'm talking about the present, not the past. He just fought the best opponent in his career and he wants to quitHe's GREAT? How so? Explain this.
Tell me the great fighters that he would have fought at 140 and 147 and what fighting them would have proven that wasn't already knowna bout himOriginally Posted by Jman76
Hatton didn't want that fight and Cotto as everyone will agree now "wasn't ready" so who![]()
it doesn't matter when he beat them he did beat them..and castillo, corrales, were far betterOriginally Posted by Jman76
than oscar..the only reason oscar was even in the fight was because it was floyd's first at the new weight..at 147 or below floyd kills oscar...
I hope you mean you have to beat the beat to be the best...and if that's the case then who was the great fighter that oscar beat that made him great or even the best? and if you want to count fights that should be losses then you should watch some more oscar fights and the count the eight he should have....

Yeh there arnt any fighters that wud add to his legacy really. Maybe Hatton or Cotto or Shane. I just think Floyd wins all 3 of them tho to be honest.Originally Posted by Starr

shane beats floyd...there is no reason or logic as to why he hasn't fought him yet...or why he would fight him next..unless its to beat jermain taylor...well the taylor that showed up against spinks that is...the one that fought bhop beats floyd easily..

First, I've watched pretty much all of Oscar's fights (with the exception of about 5 or 6 ). Oscar at less than 147 didn't give a shit and he would DESTROY Floyd. He would do the exact same thing he did this month BUT with a lot more stamina, what would Floyd do? ...besides run faster (since he would weigh less )Originally Posted by JonesJrMayweather
Curiousity is killing me though, please explain how Floyd would kill Oscar at < 147. Have we forgotten that Oscar had a very good amount of power at <147? Maybe Floyd would KILL Oscar by throwing those DESTRUCTIVE one punch combinations (most of which would get blocked by prime Oscar...a 34 yr old Oscar blocked a lot of his punches & remember Floyd is in his prime ). So explain...
Floyd threw plenty of combinations at the lower weights, anyone who watched those fights should know that.Originally Posted by Jman76
154 floyd isn't prime floyd...prime floyd is when he used all of his physical gifts to win fights...what slick prime fighter has oscar beaten? and prime oscar got tired just the old oscar gets tired...floyd beats delahoya more decisively at the smaller weights..and that's pretty bad seeing as he only won 3 rounds when they did fight...Originally Posted by Jman76
