Thread: hatton vs cotto

if hatton beats castillo and cotto beats zab i hope we get hatton vs cotto.

who you guys think will win?

this fight would be great for the sport, two fighters undefeated with a country on their shoulders. imagine the atmosphere come fight night. the best fights are those fighters who come out with everything they got and have a whole country cheering them on.

I really hope they make this fight.

Cotto by cut stoppage at 147.

yea they got to make it at 147, I can't figure out why hatton insist on staying at 140 up til now, i heard he says he'd move up to 147 for cotto or floyd though.

This fight has to be made for both fighters sake!
I like Hatton in this one for some reason, I think Cotto is perfect for him.

At 147, and at this point, I'd say Cotto. But, I'll reserve final judgement until after their next fights. If JLC comes in shape, and brings his A-game, and Hatton can walk through him, then Hatton would have a shot. On the other hand, If Hatton loses, or barely pulls it out, he wouldn't stand a chance against a younger, stronger, more aggressive version of Castillo(Cotto), at a heavier weight.

Would have like to seen this fight at 140, and would still like to see it. Even if both guys lose, or just one does, their styles would make for an exciting fight, that I would still want to see.

yea i know what you mean, both style will be great to watch specially against eachother.

Hatton would kill his body leaving him sluggish on his feet and lowering his hands making it visible when he throws a jab or a power shot.

i like hatton in this fight also. thats no knock on cotto. i just feel like hatton is tough enough to stay in face and get his work done.

plus hatton is such a likeable person. i know that has nothing to do with anything when they both get in the ring i just thought i would add that.


on a side note i'm pick castillo to beat hatton and judah to beat cotto.
hatton cotto could still happen though.
