Default What Could Oscar Do Better In The Rematch With Floyd ??

I think use his jab even more this time go to the body because no matter how quick Mayweather is the body never moves plus work on his stamina thoughts ??

His stamina let him down in teh Mosley and Tito fights . If he just didnt take his foot off teh gas he could have beaten Floyd and, Tito and Mosley the 2nd time but Oscar fades in fights , thats just teh way it is . I think Floyd can do better in a rematch , he didnt look as good as he could first time round but I think we saw the best of what Oscra has at his age and it wasnt good enough . Next time he will only be older .

Now Floyd knows he has his number he will get to work sooner next time, they say rematyches often go teh same way but more convincingly and I think the rule sticks with this one. Prime for prime Oscar would beat Floyd but at this stage they are very equally matched but Floyds the fighter at his peak and should be able to steal another decision .

    Not show up.

    I really mean that....
I think theres NOTHING he could do within the rules to beat PBF.

I really think PBF would embaress him this time around.

No faith in your boy Mick ?? i think Oscar may be able to do better if he works on few things that cost him 1 use his jab for full 12 and not stop throwing it 2 work on his stamina this two things cost him of course i could be wrong but still those 2 things he needs to work on if the rematch happens which it looks likely that it will.

I don't really think so... If Mayweather had never remotely hurt him with a punch then maybe I could see Oscar managing to steal more rounds with his BS flurries... But Floyd did wobble him in round 5 and hurt him a little to the body again late.. Don't think Oscar could do much differently really.. As for using his jab, I just figure that he obviously saw something most of us didn't, as it clearly was working for him for a couple of rounds and he wouldn't just abandon it if he wasn't wary of something Mayweather was doing.. That and the fact that the guy with better skills almost always does better in rematches by making the proper adjustements, and Oscar is only going to get older. He probably can't do much about his stamina at this point in his career either, I mean why on earth wouldn't he have done it for the first match if he could possibly be in better shape.. Im really not interested in seeing a rematch at all actually.

I would rather see Mosley vs Mayweather because i think Mosley has better shot than Oscar but from what i've been reading it looks like that it will be Oscar vs Mayweather rematch but i don't think its fair i feel in Mosleys last few fights he is more deserving than Oscar.

Hard to say To me it depends on who benefits more from a 2nd look.... Delahoya would be a little older and is he willing to go thru hell in training again after he stated that was the best shape he was in, he would have to be better than that, plus cut weight again

Floyd now knows Oscar completely, is still young, would be even more comfortable at 148-150 not to mention Floyd trains the same for all his fights just like Evander Holyfield 1000000000000000000000% so conventional wisdom would point toward Floyd stepping it up and beating him real bad this time..

    Faith is one thing.
    The truth is another.
I have faith, at the same time I know the truth.
Theres nothing ODLH can do he has everything against him he didn't do it the 1st time theres no way he can do the 2nd.
He's aged and if they fight again PBF will overwhelm him.
Not even his jab, or his stamina will save him from that.

I think if he would stay commited to the jab it will be a whole different fight. If he keeps working with the jab, tweaks his stamina a bit, and keeps alittle bit more pressure on floyd than in the first fight, i'm saying he wins the rematch.

How is he supposed to "tweak his stamina"?? Stamina has been a problem for him his entire career, he's not going to magically solve the problem at the age of 34.

Thats his problem not mine . If thats the case then he should know that he only has 7-8 rounds of a fight in him and make the most of them. If he would've kept with the jab for the duration of the first 9 rounds of their first fight, He would've walked away with the decision.

to be honest a rematch is pointless. a mayweather - mosley fight on the other hand wouldn't be

Wasn't he originally ordered to fight mosley "immediatly" after his oscar fight or his title would be stripped (not the one from oscar but the other one)?
