Thread: I Finally Named My Gym

Id hemmed and hawed about it for forever,but I decided on FIST
Before you accuse me of being cliche,its an homage to the dojo I used to train at The Traveling Fist,Im paying homage to my former Sensi
So its now The FIST Gym

Reminds me of the movie witd Stallone in it.
Sort of a union-maffia flick.

My dad used to call tha basement in our old house "the dungeon."
People used to arrive to our house to visit an end up watchin me n my cuz sparrin. It had a real atmosphere to it, great place to train.

I belong to a Gold's Gym. They got rid of all the boxing equipment for spin and yoga classes for the scumbag yuppies. I dubbed it "The Suck A** Gym." I'm paid up for six more months then I'm outta there.

While im in college i gotta train at a different gym...no problem...except the other gym is located in one of the Roughest, most Heroin infested ghettos ever...I think it has really developed my fitness tho, sprinting to and from training u no.

From what I can tell, most of the good gyms ARE in the ghetto. I kind of like it. I'm one of like 2 or 3 white boys in my gym. I've never really felt unsafe down there (although a few weeks before I started going there a girl was shot right out front of the gym), it's just something completely different than what I am used to.

My second gym is in limerick (im irish remember) and theres one serious gang war ther at the moment. The gang thing in Ireland revolves around two families and even jus outside the gym you constantlty gotta watch who u talk to and who u socialise with...Scary Stuff.
My "Home" gym as i call it is in The westside of Galway is also in a notorious neighbourhood but the atmosphere is completely different erbody helps erbody and its real cool.
