Default Did anyone catch Dynamite-USA!! this weekend?

    WOW

The 'opening ceremony' for this show was just the flat out weirdest F****** thing I have ever seen in my life!

It started with DJ Hapa introducing himself to the crowd and trying to get the crowd all hip and with it. 'Give me some NOISE!!' he kept yelling. A few people cheered and all were waving these bizarre inflatable penis shaped objects, thousands of them wtf

Anyways next up we were treated to the official torch lighting ceremony headed of course by the MMA legend that is Denis Rodman

He passed the torch down a line until it reached Hong Man Choi whose job it was to climb the steps and light the flames. There was a hilarious moment when the flames burst into life and Choi practically fell down the steps in shock.

Then it was pretty much all down hill.

Ancient former boy band All 4 One come and sing the national anthem. They all look well over 40 years old and it makes you wonder if the promoter couldn't afford anyone better?

Then some little guy came in, to much affectation from DJ Hapa and started to play the trumpet. Then a whole collection of freaks from Carnivale appeared, women dressed with big flowery headresses and not much else, belly dancing their way down the steps to some instantly forgetable samba crap. If it was Mardi Gras then they wouldn't have looked quite as ridiculous as they did here but at an MMA event it was just plain insanity.

Finally the 'climax' of the show was two freaks on pogo stilts, leaping and jumping about 15 feet in the air

Then Dennis Rodman was handed a microphone and introduced the show (why, somebody tell me what does Dennis Rodman have to do with this )

Hilariously the entire crowd booed and jeered him so he didn't talk for long.

I don't know if any of you caught this but it was the worst load of embarassingly bad dross I ever saw in my entire life, and this is coming from someone who watched the Eurovision song contest!

I can only assume that Gary Shaw, who promoted this is actually an undercover sabateur who is attempting to destroy MMA and it's threat to boxing by hosting laughably bad shows.
