Shogun Assassin
Long ago there was a great samurai warrior who served his Shogun honorably. The Shogun however grew paranoid as he became more and more senile. The Shogun sought to destroy all those who might stand to oppose his rule, and so he sent his ninja spies to the samurais home. The ninjas failed to kill
e samurai, but did kill his beloved wife. From then on, the samurai swore on his honor to seek out the Shogun and avenge the death of his love. The samurai roams the countryside with his toddler son taking on mercenary work for money until the final battle with the Shoguns three Masters of Death.

Hell I remember that film, was first kung fu film I ever rented when I was about 8 or 9 !

Did the cover have the guy pushing the pram on it ?

Ending where his son says "i wish it could be different but a wish is just a wish " or something like that

Would love to watch it again

Do you listen to hip-hop/rap music, Smash? The opening sample on Gza's Liquid Swords album (an all time fav of mine) is from this movie. I believe the closing sample is from the movie as well.

Also, Shogun Assassin 2 is available on DVD now. It's the second half of the Lone Wolf series cut into a movie just like the first Shogun Assassin was for the start of the Lone Wolf series.

If that makes sense... if not say so and I will explain it a bit better.
