n August 25 one of the most awaited showdowns in the mini flyweight division will become a reality when undefeated WBO straweight champion Ivan 'Iron Boy' Calderon (28-0, 6 KO's) moves up in weight to face WBO mini flyweight champion Hugo Cazares (25-3-1, 19 KO's). The official announcement was made by PR Best Boxing Promotions at a spectacular press conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The fight will be held at Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. "This is Calderon's most important fight, but at the same time it is Cazares most important fight. They are two champions who are at the peak of their careers and they will give it all to come away with a victory", said Promoter Ivan Rivera. For many ringside experts Calderon and Cazares are the top two fighters in the lower weight divisions plus both come from two passionate boxing nations: Puerto Rico and Mexico. I'm preparing to give another another good boxing demonstration, hit and don't get hit", said Calderon, who insisted that Cazares strength advantage is not new for him. "I've always been the smaller fighter, so I am used to it."
Cazares will be making his fifth fight in the island. "I don't have any problem in going to Puerto Rico. I already fought 'Nene' Sanchez and (Nelson) Dieppa, and I beat them", said the Mexican champion. The card "Champion vs Champion" will be shown live on Pay-Per-View. Details of the undercard will be announced during the upcoming weeks.

I think the world of Calderon, but there is a key size difference that may prove too much of a hill for "Iron Boy" to climb.

I think the world of Calderon, but there is a key size difference that may prove too much of a hill for "Iron Boy" to climb.

Calderon fought a lot of his earlier fights @ Jr. Fly but only dropped down to 105 to campaign for a shot @ a belt.
I say Calderon will be to slick for Cazares but it will be a great fight.
IMO Calderon wins his first championship by UD

Iron Boy have the boxing abilities to win that fight but Cazaras is sooo much bigger and he as well isn Fast and of course strongger
