Talking in the late 70s to some of the older trainers of the day. Micky Walkers name came up, and in the company was his sparring partner when he boxed the European champ Milligan in London. The trainers raved over him if he was about now they said hed frighten the life out of the L /heavys never mind the middles they to a man raved on about him. The sparring partner who was a rated fighter said scrap could he hit, the 1st day I was showing off and to be honest was trying to be flash. Anyway he said rubbing his chin somehow Im on my arse with Micky trying to help me up, and saying were not going to make this hard are we mate, and me thinking am I fuck. He was great after that and I behaved I didnt want another
