I heard Steve Bunce, a pundit off Setanta Sports saying thats how much Ricky is getting for this fight, and Castillo is only on around £250k, thats a suprise, so with the English money on the table TV Pay per view sponsers etc, maybe we could get Floyd v Hatton in the UK, possibly this fight could make them both over £10 million each possibly £15 million each? Would tha sort of money tempt Floyd to take on Ricky in the UK?

are there even 900 people in britain who know who floyd mayweather is ?

im sure ricky's man city following would flock down to london though. maybe get 30,000 unless tickets are cheap as hell

ricky sells out the m.e.n arena absolutly no problem, did u ever try and get tickets for his fights there, u had to be very quick. rick would take a following of over 50,000 from the north of england, if the tickets were available.

Well i live in ireland an never miss a Hitman or Calzaghe fight in the UK which isnt exactly next door!!!! So ye im sure that they would sell out wembly with ease...

everybody who bought a ppv for the urango fight would have to buy tickets and travel to the new wembley ...

I would be surprised if Hatton is getting 5m quid for the fight. Dollars seems more credible.

If you think thats the only following Ricky gets your very niave, Hatton has thousands and thousands of fans who dont even follow football, 900 people dont know Mayweather?? What planet you on? He was just involved in the richest non heavyweight ever? Hatton v Mayweather would be huge in the uk, put it this way i had a house of 12 people watching Dela Hoya V Mayweather and one person picked Dela Hoya to win, and thats from a bunch of very casual boxing fans. Mayweather is known trust me and getting even more bigger now. Ricky could have sold 60 thousand for KT, Mayweather Hatton is probably biggest fight financially for Floyd unless theres a Dela Hoya re match, the reason because of the money generated from this side of the pond.

put it like this getting a ticket for his fight against KT was hard work, u had to be quick. A fight with FM would be more popular in the uk now, then when he fought KT. It would sell big time

Any fight for ricky in the uk makes sense financially. He's a huge draw and every boxing fan in britain whether supporting ricky or not, would without question love to pay to see him box another world champ (even witter.)

mayweather is known bigtime over here in the uk u could walk down the street and do a survey and over 50 % of people would no him as for hatton hes a household name. i think the tszyu fight sold out in hours. seriously. if there was a stadium with 200,000 seats over here in the uk these two could sell it.
