Thread: Hattons final touches done at UFC gym

Hatton (42-0, 30 KOs) was pumped and ready to go to war at the UFC Zuffa Gym in Las Vegas yesterday as he put on some of the final touches for Saturday's collision with Jose Luis Castillo (55-7-1, 47 KOs) at the Thomas & Mack Center.

looks a like a lean,mean fighting machine

My opinion he is the top man at 140. He is a total rid cage wrecking ball. I love body work and no one at 140 dose it better.

He looks in great shape but we'll see how he looks at the weigh in. He really looked like shit at the Urango weigh in, looked far too weight drained. Gotta say I'm dreading the weigh in for that reason and also Castillo making weight

From what ive heard both of them could have made the weight at the beginning of this week if they wanted to so you have nothing to worry about. In regards to hatton, he didnt look right at the urango weigh in. He will look awesome at this one though He is in tip top condition and is raring to go.

hopefully they didn't unteach him how to block

Let's go Hatton! Yeah he does look in great shape in comparison to the urango showing. Really can't wait now...

I think Hatton is a genuine guy, when he said he failed himself by fluctuating so much between fights in the past that he was being honest and wouldn't let it effect him badly anymore. I'm looking for a real good showing here out of Hatton, and the gym pics make me a little bit hopeful.

He's training at the UFC gym? What's the deal? Was he not invited to the Mayweather gym?

Now I know where he gets the holding technique from.

I think he'll be in good shape at the weigh in. He did not balloon this time, got up to just a touch over 12 stone (168lbs) and dropped that in two months comfortably. He looks lean and toned with good stmach definition and strong shoulders. Last time against Urango I thought he looked a little light in the upper arms and shoulders.

And I agree, he just wanted to sharpen up his grappling skills a bit....
I take it his sparring partner was Hughes.
