As far as I know Joel Casamayor doesn't hold a title but a Ring Magazine World Lightweight Unofficial "title" so why would Juan Diaz take him? Casamayor better move up and put some money on te table to get a meaningful 140 pounder debut or he will not have success doing so much later!
What makes the Ring belt unofficial? I'd say its the only legit belt out there. The Alphabet Orgs through absurd sanctioning fees, unworthy mandatory opponents and BS rankings are killing boxing. Diaz might be a champ, but everyone knows who THE champ is at LW.
