Default Fight Night Round 4 News

INTERVIEW by Gabriel Montoya (Feb 9, 2007) Doghouse Boxing

    http://www.doghouseboxing. com/Gabriel/Montoya_020907.htm

GM: When can we expect the next version of Fight Night?

MB: That’s a good question. We are currently figuring that out right now. I can’t give you an exact date. It won’t be within the next year, I don’t believe . The reason for that is that we want to revolutionize that game again. Just like the XBOX 360/ PS3 with the punch and amazing visuals we want to take the next leap for the next Fight Night. I can’t give an exact estimate… it will be within a year from now is my current estimate.

Personally, I think that they have to be looking at integrating the same kind of technology that the Nintendo Wii has used with its boxing game, but to an even greater effect, because movement sensors are surely made for this kind of game.

I'd prefer total punch control to be honest. The analog system used now is great. They need more fighters, referees that step into fights, and a more realistic career mode!

All of those things would be great...but I still reckon that the Nintendo Wii's system of motion sensors is amazing for boxing games...it's like shadowboxing and really hard work! Maybe an option for both...

I could deal with that. I'm lazy you see. A thumb workout is all I need.

Total punch control is better than motion sensors and shit.....at first its amazing dont get me wrong but the novelty quickly wears off...one of my freinds has a Wii and like i say at first was fun...but then i just couldnt be bothered to start swinging my arms around to play a game....

I honestly hate to make the basic punchs with analog stick jab , cross , right and left hook... It should be with normal bottoms...

I wont go into what i think is better but i will say that EA need to make it one or the other because the button users get their punches off in sucession that much quicker, it makes for an unfair advantage.

I gotta disagree. Everyone has the option of pushing the buttons. It's not as if we have an advantage others don't. I like the total punch control, but when you get outside of a normal hook it becomes a little too difficult to throw the really heavy blows- especially in the heat of battle.
