    Default Khan Exposed

the boxing world has just Witnessed the bubble bursting for Khan, dropped by a boxer who has no power, people will be queuing up to destroy Khan, even soft body shots were having an affect, every time he took a body shot he backed away and dropped his arms and smiled at Limond, which everyone knows is sure sign of stress, he kept looking to his corner, didn’t no what to do when he went down.
Wank Warren is going to have to pick Khans opponents a lot better, but at some stage he will have to put him in with a known puncher, and that will be the end of Khan, we all thought he had a glass jaw, and wondered why all his opponents were notable light punchers, now we know he can’t take a punch from even a soft hitter.

What? he took the punch and carried on fighting!!! He fought back from a brutal knockdown and against the more experienced fighter and took him out in the next round and broke his jaw! Does this show heart, determination and grit? I think so! I was very pleased with Khan for fighting back it was his first 12 rounder and he stopped the guy!

Nothing annoys me more than noob posters coming on here just to spout their hate.

Khan showed great resiliance to come back like he did. He proved beyond doubt he's got a fighting heart.

And forcing the other guy to quit after 8 rounds due to a broken jaw doesn't speak of having no power either.

    You sir, are a buffoon.

This sort of shite really annoys me.

Without going into the reasoning why this topic is pointless i would like about the knockdown...

did anybody not think Kahn gettin his foot caught under the rope lead to him getting tagged?

I'm not tryin to do a pr job or anything but it just seemed that way to me....its the 1st thing i noticed. It was also kahn needlessly rushin in that got him caught. He's too eager to impress....2 much expectation for him to just steam role everybody.

I still don't think he has a glass jaw. The shot that hurt him hit him on the temple and that messed with his balance....he then took about 3 clean on the chin and got up. He seemed to still be landing well even tho his equilibrium had gone. He proved he had heart tonight and he will have learnt more from this fight than he will have done from his previous 12.

Agreed 100% Amir got up and battered his opponent. Both guys fought very well and it was a valuable experience for Amir. Good fight and a great matchup.

Exposed my arse! Its not like it was a one punch knockdown, he took a few on the way down as he was trying to stay on his feet.

Like I say credit to both men and bad luck to Nicky Cook too, you showed heart mate.

I'm with the rest of you in saying that the more important thing was that Khan showed plenty of guts, bottle, and an ability to survive a storm to win the title, rather than the knockdown being the big thing. I think it will benefit him for the future, and a few defences down the line, maybe putting him in with Thaxton will be the next big test.

I also think Kahn was very brave and showed true class and grit to get up and somehow survive that torrid round

After all it was THE Willie Limmond

Its clear to see Amir does not know how to move his head away from punches, he is stuck in the amature style of lots of straight punches and doesnt know how to work from openings, he struggled against a light puncher who wasnt at light weight for long.

It is now a cliche but a bigger puncher would have finished him

yeah, complete truch kahn has got a glass JAW when the shot that put him down was to he top of the head...

Question his defence right now? sure... talk about his jaw? bullshit... that type of shot from anyone would put u down, the way the brain moves when u move your head without getting hit is big, but with a quality hit right on the mone, will fuck your ekwarlibium(cant spell it so fuck it lol) right up...

I just think he lacks at the moment that rugged toughness that boxers like Barrera or Eubank have, I don't know if you can learn it but he is only 20 and he has alot of talent, if anyone can it is him.

I think after that fight he should have a couple of mandatory defences of his title b4 getting in with thaxton or he could fight mitchell but im not sure if im right but i think u av to be 21 to get the british title. Also fullcredit to khan for taking those punches from limond nd stopping him something no1 else including alex arthur has done.

Yes he fought back but he was dropped by a guy with only 8 kos out of 29 fights that shows Khan's chin is suspect why do you think Warren has been putting him in with guys with no power ?? because he is also worried about his chin Khan showed heart but his defence is leaky he was caught way too much and if he would of been in with a puncher he would of been koed for certain.

    Exactly

If Khan was the real deal he would of mullered Limond without a worry

What you talking about spouting hate, when did i say i hated Kahn you TOOL, the other Guy as you call him, is not a noted puncher, even Barry McGuigan said the same, Thaxton will blow him away, even the body shots he was taking were having an effect.
