It is actualy going to be a pretty good card. Joe Mesi is fighting and so is Jeremy Williams (at Cruiserweight). It sucks that it is PPV but it is only like 25 bucks so it might be worth it.
Word is, if they both win the WBC is going to sanction a fight between Mesi and Tua ro get one of them back in the top ten.
Whoopie! what a comeback
To think I jumped up like an idiot when he announced his return and came on here posting about he was gonna take over the Heavy division.
More then half of the year gone by and hes fought once![]()
(yaawwwn)
People have lost interest now and unless he can pull off an impressive win people will continue to just look him over.
I would be happy if he got serious, for better or worse, I would to see him get back in the mix.

I know what you mean and even in his last fight it was close decision against a bum.Originally Posted by CutMeMick

Wow Tua's still alive.....ahhh i joke, i joke![]()
If Tua would just get serious and get in real shape he might be able to get in the mix...but Im doubtful if he really has that motivation at this stage. I hope Im wrong.
Shane Cameron's team has already publicly offered Tua 1 mil to make the fight but have heard nothing back. Tua's running IMO. That showdown would be one of NZ's biggest ever bouts.

Mesi's defense has not been great since returning to the ring. The few times I have seen him he's been eating alot of shots. That's 1 thing that is a BAD idea vs Tua. That coupled with the questions about his previous brain injury would have me concerned if that fight was made. I would rather see him lose to whoever he's about to fight then take clean shots from Tua.Originally Posted by mikefromstu
Tua's short for a HW, doesn't have blazing speed, etc... but the man can take it & give it on the chin.
Yeah bro I agree, Mesi's chin is not the greatest. The way he crumpled from the shots of Jirov & Barrett does not bode well for a bout with Tua!Originally Posted by silent assassin
