No good to me - I can't cook and all I eat is takeaways

I've bought both his last two books and havn't done a single recipe yet. I aslo bought a £60 steamer and a £90 set of electronic scales that calculates the nutritional value of all the food you weigh.

I mean well but I still havn't used any of it yet, apart from the scales to weigh some parcels I sent via paypal

Marco Pierre White is cool. I loved his speech at Cambridge or Oxford. A proper rags to riches story and someone who has worked very hard and had a little bit of luck along the way. He is also quite unpretentious about food which I like. I like that he admits a lot of it is bollocks and just about enjoying food in a nice atmosphere. You can apply the same to a lot of things. We like to dress it up, but it is still just a dress to be worn.

His gaff down here is shite. Stepson went for his 30th and thought is was pants too. Think he has lost it a bit. You can't deny his 3 Michelin stars and giving them back but I am not sure he is quite the same anymore

There was a post on here years ago from someone who lived in Leeds or somewhere across the road and knew him and his family as a kid. It was very funny.
