Default TENNIS HITS A NEW LOW MATCH FIXING!!

This is very bizzare indeed, basically this involves the World number 4 Nikolay Davydenko, who is a very rich man who earns millions a year playing on the ATP Tour, so my only explanation is some sort of mafia have got hold of him?? He is Russian after all .

Basically he was playing some small Clay court event in Europe, against a low ranked player who is about 85th in the world, now Davydenko won the first set quite comfortably, now the betting site which is in question is Betfair which is basically an exchange where punters offer each other odds, now you would think the World Number 4 is a set up on his strongest surface against a guy ranked 85 in the world, the odds would shrink dramatically, but apparently more than 3.5 million was traded on the other bloke to win?? Betfair say firstly in a similar event with players of similar ranking the 85th ranked guy would drift to around 14/1, but even though he was a set down he went odds on Also an match of this level got ten tens more cash exchanged than usual.

Now apparently at this stage Davydenko had not shown any sign of injury and looked fine, but after the other bloke took the second set, Davydenko pulled up injured in the third handing the match to the lowly ranked player??

Betfair have voided all bets on this match and are having discussions with the ATP Tour about these strange going ons. Apparently it isnt the first time Davydenko has come under suspition.

    Very Bizzare indeed.

Speaking of hitting a new low, I thought I heard something about a golf player who tested positive (pro-player)...

Anyone know if this in fact is true? I can't remember if I heard or read it somewhere

Well the the ex player Gary Player announced prior to the Open, that he knows for a fact that a few players juice up and there is upto ten maybe more, but in Golf they actully dont have a drug testing system, but after these comments are looking to introduce one.
