He is just trying to hype the fight but he doesn't need to because its already a major fight.

If Calzaghe thinks he's the underdog that's bad news for Kessler.

the funny thing is he expects to land 2,000 punches and probably expects it to got to the decision anyways lol

I hope his brittle hands can survive throwing 2000 punches. I think Calzaghe ment he was going to try and land 2000 slaps like an angry penguin.

I must be one of the few who think Kessler is going to break Calzaghe, k.o. in the 8th or 9th. Joe should have fought alot of better guys by now, I want him outta' here.

I'm sure you don't actually think he's brain damaged, you're just using this story as an excuse to once again spit bile at Calzaghe. If you're looking for unlikely and false statements that are completely ridiculous, you could have a look at some of the things that Kessler has said so far.

This seems a weird boast by Calzaghe, I mean most would be ashamed if they couldn't end a guy they had hit 2000 times, even Paul Williams can ko a man after landing a 1000 punches. Only Paulie Malignaggi in all of boxing could probably land 2000 clean shots and the other guy make it to a decision.

No one has ever defeated Kessler close to a points decision. Even at the amateur ranks Kessler was dominating the Eastern Russian guys with his pick em hit system. Kessler will dominate Calzaghe and stop him late.

Dude....calzage on drugs, 2000 punches and he thinks he is the underdog. I think hes just trying to make everyone think he can do what he did to lacy against anyone...yet hes only really ever done that once. Kessler will win by ud
