Default Welterweights Of The 80s Vs The Welterweights Of the 90s Who Would Win ??

I was just thinking of this and come up with some match ups and you can also have Lightwelterweights.

    Thomas Hearns vs Felix Trinidad

Roberto Duran vs Julio Cesar Chavez

Shane Mosley vs Sugar Ray Leonard

    Pipinio Cuevas vs Fernando Vargas

Thats some of the matchs up i come up with but you could mix them up but forgetting that who would come out on top the 90s or the 80s ??

    Thomas Hearns KO1
Roberto Duran SPLIT POINTS ( based on the fact Chavez was no welter , at LW is a draw ).
    SR Leonard POINTS.
    Pipino Cuevas KO 4

Hearns KO 5 Trinidada,,,,Tooo fast for Tito and too accurate

Duran UD Chavez.....A battle of wills but Duran just won't fade out in the late rounds after a fast pace

Leonard SD Mosley.....Hard fight to choose Ray had just a bit more though

    Cuevas KO Vargas 8

These matches are pretty tough as written. If you switch them around I'm sure the 90s wws would win their share, cept Vargas, I got a lotta love for him but he don't beat any of those guys.

Also where is ODLH and Whitaker. Early 90s Whitaker would give all those guys a hell of a fight.

BTW. Shane Mosley vs Roberto Duran at 135lb would be mouth watering event.

    I'd say:
Trinidad UD Hearns (Trinidad showed more chin and boxing skills over his reign at WW, even though he got knocked down several times early, he always seemed to rebound--at WW that is)

    Duran KO 14 Chavez

    Leonard UD Mosley

Vargas KO 10 Cuevas (Cuevas was such a hot and cold fighter, hard to pick him)
