And what makes it more amazing is that he was actually behind in the fight and that could dishearten you knowing your losing then you get discolated shoulder but good old Williams pulled through great guy outside the ring shame he goes too hot and cold in fights back.

I think this proves a valuable lesson though that heart ISN'T what makes a champion.

williams showed some great heart considering the pain he was going through.

Yep just one of 3 particularly brave Danny Williams performances. He may lack will when it comes to Mr Kipling or McDonalds but the man has balls the size of grapefruits.

Byrd isn't a threat to do damage mick and if you've already locked up the cards, just cruise thru the last three rounds because he wont be able to hurt you. It's still unacceptable from an undefeated heavyweight champion who was winning on points.

You could actually see the bone coming out of the shoulder. I remember when Freedie Roach said he had no heart before the Tyson fight. He should have seen this fight.

Wasn't it the 1st or 2nd round when Jeff Lacy tore his rotator cuff in his last fight? He went all 12. And against a guy who could hit too.
