    He died?

    How?

I thought I just saw him on the last X-Games, but I could be wrong.

Check my thread man, nothing is 100% confirmed... but it is looking 99% likely that McRae and his son are dead.

A true legend of motorsport! He recently retired, and he will be sorely missed, on and off the road.

for what exactly? i mean the cunt died and thats bad and all... but i don't get why when a celeb dies people go all omg lets do this lets do that for them for no real reason, colin was a good rally car driver but tbh i fail to see what he done in his life for anyone to get all appreciative about.

I understand where you are coming from man, but you need to understand that he is more than just "another celeb" to a lot of people. I have many reasons to show appreciation to him that I don't need to go into here, and a lot of other people do too.
I am a lot more Affected by Colin's death than say, if somebody like Eminem or Queen Elizabeth died. It all depends on how they affected you as an individual I guess.

Well this giy brought some great moments to alot of peoples lifes, he was a great rally driver and had many fans, the cunt died? Thats a bit disrespectful. This guy would of been an inspirtaion and hero to alot of people, so your comments were totally uncalled for.

Really? its kinda why i asked, i don't follow the ralleying to indepth, but i never though Mcrae was one of those who done shit for people like... (not saying he should of either) but from what i seen or heard about him he done well at what he did, but never give back, helped out with any charity or anything, i mean sure he prolly donated some cash somewhere, but thats the basics if u know what i mean?

I mean its shit for his family and all, i felt a bit sorry for them when i heard about it and his son being there, they must be well fucked up... but its just the "So all my fellow Saddo brothers and sister lets all show our appreciation." to me mcrae was good at what he done, just like some guy we well never hear of is good at what he does in some office somewhere - i don't see how anyone outside a pretty hard core fan would really have anything to show for him other than maybe respect for being good.

Like I said, I have a lot of reasons to be appreciative of him. My best friend and I idolised him all through our teens and he gave us countless good times through his rallying. After my friend was diagnosed with leukemia, McRae was down to earth enough to reply to a letter my friend sent to him, so that gesture alone is enough for me. When my friend died, we had a flower arrangement made in the shape of McRae's Subaru Impreza rally car to put on his grave... so you see where I am going with this, to me it was more personal than just any celeb.
And just so you know, he did do charity work, haha.
When his website is back online you can check back through his blog if you want... he mentioned his charity work occasionally.
