Thread: PRIDE fighters will lose in UFC for a while....

I think the time it takes to become adjusted to the cage and the difference in rules will have an effect on all PRIDE fighters initially. Just as if there had been a mass wave of UFC fighters in PRDIE,it would take them a while to get used to it too. I hate UFC fanboys boasting about how crap PRIDE fighters have looked thus far. Give them time.

BTW,the cage sucks balls,so restrictive And the refs in UFC need to learn to break the action more They need to get that AWESOME Jap ref,the main one,from PRIDE!

i agree but alot of it is down to the durgs testing in ufc aswell...

I think themusic is correct about the drug testing...I personally like th cage, but I do think if they implemented the card system from Pride in UFC you would see fights with more action....I'm past disciminating between Pride/UFC fighters...The whole argument was absurd to me in the first place.

I actually like the cage too.

As for PRIDE fighters, they'll be fine. Shogun is going to dominate in the division with the UFC's biggest stars.

We'll see,I don't think it's easy to adapt straight away after years and years of being in a ring with PRIDE rules to just jump into UFC and be able to beat their best. I still think he'll dominate,but I think he'll get off to a slow start.

Against Forrest? I really doubt it's going to last past one round really.

I think the cage aspect is overrated in fighter's transition and in a division that doesn't have a whole abundance of guys working on the ground or in the clinch I think he'll be fine.

I hope you are right Amat. I was also alluding to the elbows,they seemed to shake up Crop Cop in his first loss. Heck even Big Nog didn't look too impressive in his first fight.

also henderson was 37 years old, and it should be expected that he is gonna start to lose his stamina


nogueria got caught but still pulled out a win, and that wasnt UFC related, he just got sloppy cuz he already fucked herring up

not one LW UFC fighter would stand a chance against ANY of the pride/K1 lightweights, and dana whites ego is far to big to sign anyone who is gonna prove that
