Gary Lockett a good class euro fighter is the second highest ranked middle in the world ?

Calm down calm down. lets not forget locket holds the prestigious WBU title which is one step away from greatness.

Warren is pushin it at this stage. I was in denial myself for a long time about this, but its true...Warren's £€$ is the reason for an awful lot of his fighters having any standing.
Now i like Lockett, iv seen him fight live more than once and i like him, but...he's not great.
I like him in the same way i like Mark Jennings and Takaloo and co. Good fighters who entertain greatly on a domestic level but fall short of the requirements to make an impact at world level.

Warren got kicked off sky cos he kept foisting shit titles on them. they have now banned all minor world titles and carl thompson got stripped of his IBO title cos sky wouldnt show it cos of the jarg title.

Carl Thompson, pardon my ignorance but is he still campaigning? I was just asking about him today on another thread.

Well in terms of Calzaghe, u cant really say he ducked anybody. Joe and Enzo Calzaghe always wanted the biggest fights they could get, not only for the sake of boxing but also because of the fact they like to make big money. Joe did fight the best opposition he could locate.
The only flaw in his fights i can really think of is him failing to rematch Reid, but then agin others dealt with him didnt they.

I'm pretty sure if you did a quick check of the champs he's been involved with over the years there'd be plenty which weren't WBO
