Sal was a legend no doubt and a case can be made for him above JCC.![]()
He would of been if that tragic accident wouldn't of happened he only had few amateur fights what a talent Sanchez was he is one of my favorite fighters.
....give Carlos Zarate some props bro
I like Zarate but his record was padded but still a great fighter.Originally Posted by Lyle

I never said it wasn't but Chavez did beat some good fighters and if you actually look at Zarate's record he only has a few goodish wins nothing that really stands out.Originally Posted by Lyle
i made this video a year ago but youtude delete it.. i was thinking of making it again so i went looking for some Sanchez videos on ares a p2p and i couldn't believe it i found my video somebody upload it on ares.
Sanchez was a superb fighter. So good at such a young age. Tragic his life ended so early.
There are so many great Mexicans i just cant decide who is the greatest. Salvador is certainly up there though!
44-1 at the age of 23, not even in his prime when he died. Such an amazing talent, its one of the most tragic tales in boxing. He could have went down as one of the greatest ever.

sanchez was on pace to be a 80+ win fighter and could of been one great legend but sad to say his death took away what could of been and again but we will never know what could of been becuase after the age of 23 he could of been 25 and suddenly and suprisingly defeated once even twice. We will never know, so it is safe to say the title of greatest mexican ever should remain jcc's title.
....I would have loved to see him and Arguello have it out!
There were talks of it happening and also Gomez rematch what a shame he died he could of been greatest of all time and what makes it even more great is that i don't think he even had any amateur fights.Originally Posted by Lyle
When ever I think of Salvadore outside of the tragic way he left us...I always say to myself "He was only 23 and had not even peaked yet!!"......Hard to get past...I* mean think about that for a second..Really think about it!!....Here we are talking about how great he was but in truth he had not even tapped his real potential!!...Chances are Sal would have been one of the top 5 ATG P4P of the sport...Almost scary to think about the talent that just layed there waiting ot come out...
