Thread: WTF: I thought Vera beat Sylvia??

The fight was poor and although Vera did initiate some of the clinching at the start,in the first and second round he landed strikes. More than Sylvia and cleaner too. All Sylvia did was clinch against the fence. Vera even had a take down.2-1 Vera.

WTF is octagon control BS? Pushing against the fence for as long as you can(which isn't hard if your 5 inches and 25 plus pounds more than your opponent) Fuck I miss PRIDE. If it were attempt to finish the fight,Sylvai would have got few points. And the ref should have broken them up more often.

i think octagon control was meant to be like ring generalship, but its become a way for joe rogan to put over guy for leaning on people


i didnt think vera did anything tho, and sylvia landed some meaningless (but scoring) punches while he was leaning on vera
