Thread: Does this site run really slowly for anybody else???

For a few months now this website has been running really slowing on my home computer and work.

Does anybody else find there is quite a long delay between pages?

Its been running steady_e for me.....

Every now & again I have hit some slow spots...I think that it might just be a few "ad" related issues. You'll have that though...it's a necessary evil.

Every now and then I have issues, but I just leave it for 10 mins then start again. I do alot of posting from work...it's a wonder how I get anything done.

I get a lot of connection errors, I have to refresh a lot.

My work has a real good connection so never a problem here..but at home takes about 2 minutes to load the front screen and i have a 1.6mb connection..so hardly slow. i

I have a 15Mb connection and it can be slow loading at times. Sometimes it seems like the database is overloaded and it times out.

I find whenever there is a big fight on, and we get a lot of lurkers here, this place can get hard to connect to.

Especially when there is about 200 of us constantly refreshing Wacko's round by Rounds!hehe

OK guys there has been alot of these posts latley so i have just this munite signed up for a new server and will be moving us to the new server in a week or so.... it aint cheap at $260 a month so expect more popups

hopefully it will sort out all the problems everyone has been having

It's been fine here..

at times it runs slow and most of the time its great
