Default Madison square Garden - The ring, retired

Just seen that they are due to Retire the Ring in Madison square after 82 years of being the world's most famous squared circle.

It started in 1925 with the first bout being a L-Heavy bout between Paul berlenbach and Jack delaney.

Im just reading this in boxing monthly some of the moments that happend in this ring

    Frazier UD Ali
Emile griffith - Benny paret tragedy
    Marciano Ko Joe loius
Lamotta taking a dive against billy fox...

these are just the ones they have mentioned in the article but please add your own memorable moments of Madison square.

Yeah Sam Peter Jameel McCline was the first big fight in the new Ring...
I was only an instrument that God used to play his music through. Loved being that instrument because he gave me some beautiful music to play.

Is it true the retired ring is being given to the IBHOF?

That is right, MSG has donated the ring to the IBHOF that will put it up for display in the hall of fame grounds.
