Thread: Although i know no one will reply to this but....

Australia has a new prime minister at last, Kevin Rudd. Finally britain has one, australia has one and hopefully usa will have a new president to make this world a better place.

This may not be what you want to hear, but it will take more than 3 people to make this world a peaceful place This world will never be at peace. When countries can ensure their own homelands are peaceful, maybe then they can start looking out of their borders. Sorry if this is a cynical view on your thread.

Rudd has talked the talk so far, and walked the walk into being the new prime minister,,,, but he obviously converted a lot of people to be able to win,,,, so he's got a lot of work to do to prove his worth..

Howard was certainly getting stale and we needed a fresh face/fresh idea's... I hope he does a good job for everyone's sake who decided to give him a chance even though he is unproven... I wonder if he'll reserve himself to licking George Bush's bumhole at every opportunity like Howard..

It'll also be interesting to see what he does about out troops in Iraq and if he aims to pull them out soon.. Have you read or heard anything about that?

Rudds top off sider is female Gillard is it and shes won Johnnies old seat maybe she is next in line for PM.
