Default DIaz v Gomi 2 in EliteXc?

I've heard this is a possibility,I'd definitely like to see it. Their first fight was awesome. IF Gomi comes in top condition,he wins imo. I know Diaz is good on the ground but Gomi gassed so bad in their first fight,I'm sure he can do better. I think Diaz would be favourite and rightly so,but I would definitely be rooting for the Fireball kid. I wish he hadn't bulked up though, since he's put on muscle,he seems to gassing more in his fights, when he had less muscle,he was able to go 100% all out for almost an entire fight!

    Hi El Gamo,
I'm a fan of the Fireball Kid too, however, if he hasn't patched up the holes in his grappling game, it doesn't matter if he's in better condition, Diaz will beat him again. Styles make matches and Diaz appears to have his number. Besides the ground game, Diaz held more than his own against Gomi during their stand-up exchanges.

Let's hope that Gomi's been putting in some serious work to improve his deficiencies. I really would like to see Gomi knock out Diaz. While I respect Diaz as a fighter, he's a punk with a BS attitude who needs to be humbled with a serious beating...

    Take care.

Hi,welcome to Saddos! Have a Cool Click on me.I totally agree,Diaz is a sound fighter but a jackass outside of the ring and I'd love to see Gomi beat him but your points are 100% correct. Gomi is weak on the ground as seen in his losses to Aurelia,BJ Penn,Serra and Diaz. I meant that if he improved his conditioning, there is no way Diaz would have lasted that long standing with him. I still think Gomi can take him out standing.
