Me personally, I think every fight should be up top In RBR,as many as possible at least.

Round 1: Not a whole lot of action, both guys out in the center of the ring, jabbing each other. Donaire landed a couple of good rights to Maldonad's head and some good body shots. Round to Donaire...

Round 2: Round to Donaire...opened up Maldonado with left hooks and striahgt rights throughout the round. Maldonado's face was a bloody mess.

Donaire Really pot-shoting maladanado...sharp in rnd 2,3.stalking him.picking spots and has Mald. looking very Zaragoza-esqe.
I think barring a shot out of the dark donaire is the real deal no doubt.

Round 3: not as much action as round 2. Maldonado not doing very much. Switching from south paw to orthodox and not doing much with either. Still countering with left hooks and caught him some with straight right. Round to Donaire

Round 4: Maldonado not doing anything, he's throwing a lazy staight right. Maldonado just caught Donaire with a right hook. Maldonado is starting to come back. He went to the body upstairs real nice... Donaire really looking to just counter with the left hook. Maldonado looked much better this round. Round to Maldonado

well Maldo's got some bricks

Round 5: Maldonado trying to use the ring a little more, not standing in front as much. Donaire lands a hit to the top of head. Both guys are just waiting for the other guy to move to counter. Donaire looks like he's just living to live off the counter left hook. He catches Maldonado with a left to the upstairs. Not much going on this round. Someone needs to go to the body. Nice body shot by Donaire but he looks tentative. Nice left hook by Donaire, straight right to the head. Another left hook to the head. Round to Donaire.

CC's for the RBR's gents...gotta house full of kids and a sleep over so I have no hope of catching it on the tube

Round 6: The guys are just throwing jabs. 2 left hooks by Donaire, nice body shot by Donaire. Neither of these guys want to commit to doing anything. Straight right by Donaire. Nice bofy shot by Donaire. Maldonado trying to lead with his left, nice counter by Donaire with a good body shot. Nice straight right and staggers Maldonado. Maldonado comes back with a left hook and straight right upstairs to Donaire. Round to Donaire.

I expected more from Donaire. He's pretty disappointing so far

Round 7: Guys not doing much, in middle of the ring throwing jabs. Donaire comes up top with a right hook. Donaire trying to do uppercuts from the outside and not landing. Donaire hits Maldonado with a nice right. Nice left hook to Maldonado. These guys need to throw more jabs. 2 nice uppercuts and Maldonado goes down. Maldonado gets up...Round to Donaire.

Two different speeds to these guys..Different levels..Donaire turning it up ..Maldo is a mess tko rnd 8

Round 8: Maldonado's got a really bad cut above his eye, physician checks the eye and the fight goes on. Left hook upstairs by Donaire, left uppercut that barely missed. Left hook upstairs by Donaire, another left hook. Donaire is beating the breaks off him...Maldonado is one tough mo fo, getting abused by body shots. The fight is over, the ref stops it. Someone else do the next fight, screw ya all.
