The Colonel and the other bloke had the fight closeI thought they were very generous to Hatton in their commentary as i did not give Hatton a round!
hatton won the first 2 rounds in my opinion. I have to watch the remaining rounds again to see if my opinion changes on the other rounds.
Hey, I was rootin for Hatton, and I had the same score as Harold Leddermann for quite a while. Hatton was doin good till he ran into that left hook...and turnbuckle.![]()

"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Ian Darke and Jim Watt as usual just kept yapping on to each other rather than actually talking directly about the fight , no change there then![]()

I was watching a Norwegian feed,Mayweather was solidly beating his ass according to them
Radio 5 live had Mayweather up by 5 after the 9th
I downloaded the UK version and of course they commentated through Hatton goggles. They were EXTREMELY critical of Joe Cortez and constantly called what Hatton was doing. (ie. "That was a good round for Hatton", "Uh oh that was not a good round for Hatton")
But to their credit, they gave Floyd his just do. When Ricky was getting the shit knocked out of him, they called it like it was. When FLoyd KO'd Ricky, they praised Floyd to high heaven, saying he would have been a great fighter in any era (which is true). I was expecting to hear them give out a laundry list of excuses, but they were classy enough to admit the better man won.

I think thats problem in boxing, i do like effective aggression but in alot of fights i see aggressor coming forward but not landing many punches but yet they get the round for just coming forward ?? just like Castillo got way too much credit for arm punches he was landing on Mayweather on the inside. I think Ledderman had it 115-111 terrible judging.Originally Posted by Missy
