Thread: B LEVEL FIGHTER?????????????

Now im not a Hatton fan but to call him a B level fighter is abit of a disgrace really he was leading most of the polls so nobody thought he was B level then all that happened was he lost to the best it would have happened had they fought at lightwelter to.Hatton can go on to win more fights and championships at Welter or Lightwelter he is still an A level fighter he is number 1 lightwelter for gods sake.

B level fighter to me is just short of World Class, Hatton is World Class at his mauling and brawling style and he does that well but his boxing skills overall are B Level imo.

I feel Ricky is A level, but we must take into consideration this fight...
Will it knock his confidence and change him into a safety first fighter who selects his opposition carefully?
Or will it invigorate him and turn himinto a fighter who chases down the best to ensure a legavy?

Hatton is world class. Mayweather is just a level above anything I've ever seen. I actually think he has an argument to be consdiered the best fighter ever, because he looks unbeatable.

Ricky's A-level, he's number 1 at light welter where he'll probably go next. His options are limited as he won't be able to compete against the top natural welter's, I see probably a fight with Malignaggi as it'll be the one to sell in America, then maybe Witter back home.

Doesn't have long left with his style.

What elite Welterweight can Hatton beat ?? i don't see him beating. Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, Williams, and i said this even before the Mayweather fight.

I would like to see Cotto fight Williams,Margerito or Cintron even De La Hoya im not convinced Cotto is all that yet i keep thinking about him getting taged and hurt by Zab and he was just about gone vs Torres weight drained or not.

Fact is WW is the hottest division in boxing right now. Does that mean Hatton should go back down?

Hell no. Be a man and step up. If you think you belong there enough to challenge the top dog and give him a good fight, then go ahead and stay there. If he goes back to 140 again he will lose the respect of a lot of fans.

Maybe he should've never gone up to 147 but the fact is that there is nothing for him at 140 and now that he made the move he should stick to it.

I think Hatton should fight Cotto i think Hatton could win this one.

Remember Hatton weighed in 2lb under. He's not a Welter. Billy Graham has never stopped muffling on about it and i'd make it odds-on his next fight will be back at 140.

Aww come on. Hatton would make a good fight against all four of those names mentioned. Just because he gets beat by the p4p top fighter in the world (who pretty much looks untouchable) then that doesn't mean he should go back down where he has an easier ride and more winnable fights. IMO Floyd beats the hell out of the four you mentioned.

As hatton has said its not about that for him. its all about fighting the top competition. If he wants to go down then fair enough. As he said himself he felt the difference in there aginst Floyd BUT in the same breath he can stay where he is and fight in the hottest division in boxing and MAYBE win a few fights (IMO he beats Mosely,Margarito and Paul Williams. Cotto...hhmmm).

He was 147lbs for Collazo though.
