I didn't enjoy the fight to be honest, yes i am Mayweather fan and it was good to see him win. But the fight itself was a messy fight and i didn't enjoy it.

I enjoyed it, it wasn't Mayweathers slickest performance but the fact that he beat Hatton at his own game made it sweet for me. Beat him inside and outside. All the build up as well with Hatton fans and Hatton himself saying things like 'When have you last knocked someone out?' and 'If he stands in front of me he'll get eaten'..'hope he hits harder than that'.
It was just sweet to see Mayweather prove everybody wrong especially in a hostile environment like that. He really steps up to the plate in hostile environments thats why I was glad so many turned up to boo him.
Unfortunately for Ricky and his fans, they wrote checks with their mouths they just couldn't cash on fight night. Good luck to Ricky though, always humble, always respectful. Was just brought back down to earth with a bang..I hope he can recover.
I definitely want to see how the fight looked on TV..because I gave Hatton 2 rounds and the Hatton fans around me were shaking their heads when we were discussing scores. Most of them gave him 1 round. May look different on TV

I would have thought watching the fight from a pro maywether point of view would have been greatly gratifying as strategically and perhaps physically that was Floyd's strongest showing. A masterclass.

Like i said im Mayweather fan but it was a messy fight it was a hard fight to enjoy. Mayweather's fights with. Chavez, Ndou, etc were much better.

I watched it again the other day and I didnt enjoy it either, not just because one of my favourite fighters got knocked out but it just didnt flow due to Cortez breaking them up all the time and I keep get frustrated.

Yeah, like I said it wasn't his best match..i just enjoyed it because he did things Hatton said he wouldn't and couldn't do. The match itself wasn't his best. The strategy he used to beat Hatton though ranks up there with the best he's ever used. Carried out to near perfection

I know how you feel. I've never seen Evander Holyfield's destruction of Mike Tyson (I did see the sequel, though). Tyson is my all-time favorite.

In fairness to Floyd, it was obvious from Bell 1 that his training camp had been intensive and thorough. Supplementary to the great training was the well formulated and well carried out plan.

I was a Tyson fan too! Still watch many of his early fights. But as a Tyson fan I'd advise you not to watch that!
